Marrakech - Marrakech / 3 days - 2 nights

Day 1 : Marrakech - Vallée du Dadès

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech. Departure for Ouarzazate along the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (altitude: 2260m) while enjoying stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and of Berber villages. Visit to a UNESCO World Heritage site - the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou; lunch break. On reaching Ouarzazate, you can see the site of the Atlas film studios which hosts one of the largest movie studios in the world, where films such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy and The Man Who Would Be King, were made. A visit of the Kasbah in Taourirt and then our itinerary continues along the El Kelaa M’gouna (Valley of Roses) and the Vallée du Dadès (Dadès Valley). Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 2 : Gorges du Todra - Merzouga

After breakfast, on your way to Merzouga, passing through the Gorges du Todra, stunning gorges where a stop for a visit and a walk around is a must; eventually you’ll continue along the Vallée du Todra (Todra Valley) towards Tinjdad, where you’ll enjoy lunch. Later on, we’ll take you to Erfoud/Arfoud, famous for its fossil and marble caves; visit of a cave. The next stop will be Merzouga where the desert caravan will be awaiting for a desert trekking: a wonderful adventure on the back of a camel over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight in a campsite in the heart of the desert, enjoying a typical Berber dinner and listening to folk music under a starry sky; you’ll enjoy a night rest sleeping in a traditional nomad tent (made of camel hair) in calmness and tranquility.

Day 3 : Merzouga-Marrakech

The camel driver will wake you up early in the morning to watch the stunning sunrise in the desert, later you’ll get back to the campsite for a hearty breakfast and eventually ride back to the Auberge for a refreshing shower. We’ll get back on the road heading for Ouarzazate where we’ll take a lunch break. We’ll continue in the direction of Marrakech, passing Tizi n'Tichka and the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Optional)
